Shadow work Make room for all of you, at a gentle pace
This work is for reflection & education.
Some parts of us got pushed aside because they weren’t safe or welcome once. Shadow work is how we make room for them again, gently, with curiosity instead of criticism. Along the way, we learn to spot the patterns that point to them.
Who this is for
- You react in ways that surprise you, and you want to understand why.
- You notice the same triggers, habits, or arguments coming back around.
- You’re tired of trying to fix yourself and want to try understanding yourself instead.
- You like writing things down, or you’d like to.
- You want company and a little perspective, not someone to tell you who you are.
Learning to see your patterns
Our patterns are clues. When a reaction keeps repeating, there’s usually a part of you behind it, doing its best to protect you. Together we practice noticing:
What triggers you: the moments, people, and situations that make you tense, defensive, or shut down.
What you do next: your go-to responses, like procrastinating, pleasing, avoiding, or pulling away.
What’s underneath: the fear or need the pattern is guarding.
What others reflect back: what irritates you in other people often says something about a part of you.
Seeing a pattern doesn’t mean you have to fight it. Once you can name it, you have room to respond differently.
What we do
This is a month of journaling with someone beside you. You’ll receive prompts to write with throughout the month, and you’ll bring what comes up to our meetings. There, we go through what you wrote, and I gently help you see what’s taking shape: the themes, the patterns, and the parts of you that have been waiting to be heard.
I’m not here to analyze you or hand you a verdict. I share what I notice, offer a little light where things feel foggy, and leave room for you to decide what rings true. You’ll also have a warm, judgment-free space to talk it through, along with encouragement when it gets tender. As we go, I’ll offer simple tools and practices you can keep using after the month ends, so what you discover keeps supporting you.
What to expect
You set the pace and the depth.
Nothing needs to be fixed or deleted. Parts of us settle when they’re heard.
You’ll have support between meetings through your prompts, so you’re never doing this alone.
We keep a sense of humor. Shadow work doesn’t have to be heavy to be real.
What you’ll need:
a journal and a pen, grace, love and courage.
This work is for reflection and education. It isn’t a substitute for medical or mental health care.

A note from me to you.
A new entry, an herb I'm spending time with, or a thought that needs a little room. I'll write when I have something to share. You're welcome to read at your own pace.
