The kettle’s on,
Stay for a cup.
Come as you are.
I’m Rain, a herbalist. This is where I make room for herbs, honest questions, and small rituals that fit a full life. Usually, there’s tea.
What draws me in most is how herbs support the body. Chamomile and lemon balm are gentle allies for calm and digestion. Turmeric is traditionally used to ease everyday inflammation. Manjistha is a root traditionally valued for supporting healthy blood, and that matters to me because blood carries nourishment everywhere.
I also care about where herbs come from. Traditional medicine is built on people who studied a plant, used it, and passed it down. Knowing the roots of an herb helps me use it with respect, and it tells me why we use it the way we do.
I leave the more personal things in The Quiet Breaking: thoughts on life’s patterns, spiritual awareness, and the wondering, unbelievable world around us. That’s also home to the Snail Mail Club, a community learning to make space, romanticize life, and come back to nature in their own way. I believe everyday care can hold something sacred, even when it’s a little messy.
For what goes into the cup, there’s the Apothecary. That’s where I share herb notes, recipes, and the sources I’m reading. You don’t have to know all the names to begin. Curiosity is enough.
And if you’re here to find a blend, the little shop is just around the corner. Take your time with the ingredients. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions.
With care, Rain
